Our Story
On October 11, 2020, in response to a call discerned in prayer, a team of dedicated parents and educators began building Saint Thomas More Academy (STMA).
STMA opened its doors to 45 students in grades K-5 in August 2021. In the following year, STMA added a middle and upper school, welcoming 145 students in grades K-12.
On June 22, 2023, the feast of Saint Thomas More, STMA was granted canonical recognition as a Catholic school by Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades. This marked an important moment in the story of STMA as our school became the first independently governed Catholic school in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. Today, STMA has 255 students enrolled across grades K-12.
