How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in applying to join Saint Thomas More Academy! Since opening our doors to 45 students in grades K-5 in 2021, our classical school has grown to 309 students, serving students starting at 3 years old through 12th grade . STMA is the only PK-12 Catholic school in South Bend, Indiana. We are the first PK-12 independent school to be recognized as a Catholic institution in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.

We advise all inquiring families to follow these steps in their discernment process to apply for enrollment:

I. Learn & Inquire

On our school's website, you will find information regarding what classical education is, the scope and sequence of our Montessori and K-12 curriculum, information on student life, athletics, and more. We also encourage prospective families to follow us on social media - if families are on these platforms - so that they can stay up to date with what is happening at Saint Thomas More Academy.

Before moving on to the next steps, we ask all prospective families to fill out the following inquiry form:

II. Apply

After filling out your inquiry, the next step is to apply for admission. Applications will open in January 2027; please check back.

III. Meet with Our Head of School

Families that have completed their application will be asked to schedule a meeting with our Head of School. This is a wonderful opportunity for a family to ask questions and learn more about Saint Thomas More Academy, as well as time for our Head of School to share more about our mission as a faithful Catholic school.

IV. Enroll!

That's it! After learning more about our school, visiting us for Mass and a tour, and meeting with our Head of School, families will be notified if they are invited to enroll at Saint Thomas More Academy.

Due to a higher volume of interest, and limited seats available each year, we encourage families invited to enroll in our school to not delay in submitting the required forms and paperwork.
