Beauty of Truth
We agree with Aristotle that all human beings have a natural desire to know. Indeed, we are created to participate in God’s own Wisdom through both the light of natural reason, and the light of faith given by grace. At Saint Thomas More Academy, faith and reason are nurtured and developed through a rich and robust classical liberal arts education.

Freedom for Excellence
We seek true freedom for our students. This is a freedom for excellence that is found in the lifelong work of developing our intellect, will, and affections in the activities of knowing truth and practicing goodness. Students strive to foster the virtue of magnanimity in their daily study and work, seeking “greatness of soul” so that they can better serve others and glorify God.

Friendship In Christ
Friendship in Christ is both the foundation and goal of education. In order to be free to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty, students first need to know that they are children of God, eternally known and loved for their own sake, and given a unique mission to fulfill in God’s providential plan. At Saint Thomas More Academy, the Eucharist is the "source and summit" of our community with Holy Mass celebrated every school day.

Why Classical Education?
Rooted in the traditions and cultures that built Western civilization, classical education emphasizes the development of wisdom and virtue. Students of classical education are taught both what to think, and how to think.
In a world where modern education is determined only by data, standardized testing, and college readiness, classical education is founded on an ancient, virtue-based philosophy of forming the whole person - body, mind, and soul - for human flourishing.
The classical education at St. Thomas More Academy includes:
-
Careful Reading of Primary and Classical Texts
-
A Robust Mathematics and Science Curriculum
-
Mastery of Latin and Greek Languages
-
Education in Music, Drama, and Visual Arts
-
Formation in Virtue and Character Development
-
Daily Celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
